Kofi Antubam was appointed a state artist by Kwame Nkrumah in 1957. He designed the first presidential seat, the presidential mace and the state sword.Antubam was born to the family of Maame and Nana Mensah. His father died when Antubam was at a young age, thereafter his uncle took him to Kumasi to start his education. He later spent some time in Jos, Nigeria and also at Adisadel College. It was while at Adisadel College that he was encouraged to develop his craft.

HIDDEN MYSTERIES ABOUT BUSOLA'S ALLEGATION AGAINST PASTOR FATOYINBO

THERE ARE HIDDEN THINGS IN BUSOLA’S ALLEGATION AGAINST PASTOR FATOYINBO– CAN
The Acting General Secretary of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Joseph Daramola has disclosed that there was something hidden in the rape allegations made against Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, COZA.
He insisted that this hidden aspect in the rape allegation needs to be unravelled.
The CAN secretary assured that the Christian body will investigate the matter without fear or favour.
It was reported earlier that the leadership of CAN said it was already seeking ways to address the rape allegations raised by celebrity photographer Busola Dakolo, against Fatoyinbo.
He said: “We do not want to limit the investigation because it is very wide. We all know that there is something hidden in this issue. Without sentiment, nobody is condoning any criminal act.
“I am a lawyer, and before you can prove the offence of rape successfully, you have to consider so many things. You have to prove beyond every reasonable doubt before you can establish any rape case,” Said Daramola.
“One cannot easily have his way into a woman; it is not possible, and here we are talking about rape. If you look at the entire story, one has to do proper investigation.
“For example, if the court wants to look into it, a lot of things will be considered. Church elders will interrogate Fatoyinbo without fear or favour. There is no pastor that people don’t tempt.
“We have got to a place where our thinking faculty has to be sharpened. And we have to reason like human beings. The investigation will be concluded soon but it has to be properly conducted.
A controversial blogger recently made damaging allegations against Busola Dakolo’s story which seems to have punctured major aspects of her side which purportedly claims that Pastor Fatoyinbo raped her as an underaged girl.
The blogger also claimed that Tunmise Oluyede who recently allegedly held another interview accusing Pastor Biodun of rape was sacked by the Church for financial impropriety during the COZA trip to Dubai in 2016. The lady had been silent about how she left the Church during her interview.
Another source which asked to remain anonymous also mentioned to Church Gist that a renowned father in the faith had been called in 2016 over the same matter between all the parties which had then been settled and in which Timi Dakolo had promised not to come out with the allegations anymore.
The story which came out a few days ago had led to a social media trial of the COZA Pastor while he rejected the rape allegations before he stepped down for a proper investigation of the matter by the Church elders.
It would be recalled that a new trend has developed in Nigeria in form of protests to churches rather than appropriate institutions. Recently, after protesters went to COZA Abuja and Lagos, they also visited the Redemption Camp over another issue with banners rendering insultive expletives to Pastor EA Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God. The protesters were handled with utmost restrain by Church officials.
The rape allegation has been taken to the Police by Mrs Dakolo.
