The Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) is offering limited Undergraduate and Postgraduate scholarship, through the GNPC Foundation, to prospective Ghanaian students for the 2019/2020 academic year. The scholarship is for degree courses and are tenable at accredited Public Tertiary Institutions in Ghana. The scholarship covers Tuition, Living Expenses, Book Allowance and Dissertation/Project Allowance.

JUNIOR AGOGO(EX-BLACK STAR PLAYER) IS DEAD

According to reports, the unfortunate news occurred on Thursday morning.
Agogo was hospitalized in 2015 after suffering stroke which debilitated him.
In April 2019, the striker revealed that he can no longer write with his right hand after suffering a stroke over four years ago.

The 40-year-old played for the likes of Nottingham Forest, Zamalek Sheffield Wednesday, Queens Park Ranger, Chicago Fire among other clubs.

This profile is for the sole purpose of the Internship Programme of the United Nations Conference for Trade and Development. There should be no expectation of employment within the UN after an internship. Interns shall not be eligible to apply for, or be appointed to, positions at the professional level and above carrying international recruitment status in the Secretariat for a period of six months following the end of their internship. UN interns must have a valid visa. The Internship Programme is unpaid and full-time, i.e. an intern is expected to work five days per week (8:30 am to 5:30 pm).
This position is located in the front office of the Division for Africa, Least Developed Countries and Special Programmes. The internship will start on 30 September 2019 for a period of 3 months.

   Responsibilities
Carrying out his/her tasks under the supervision of the Chief of the Front Office, the intern will perform the following functions:

•Draft information communications products for target audiences, to include press releases, communications and social media campaigns, reports, brochures or flyers, briefings, prepare short video/animated clips, newsletters, websites.

•Contribute to the implementation of the Division’s communication strategy, including through the production and distribution of information material for a variety of media and social media channels.

More generally, interns shall:

1. Observe all applicable rules, regulations, instructions, procedures and directives of the Organization notwithstanding their status as described in section 4 of the UN Internship Programme Administrative Instructions ST/AI/2000/9 & ST/AI/2005/11.
2. Provide the receiving departments/offices with a copy of all materials prepared by them during the internship. The UN shall be entitled to all property rights, including but not limited to patents, copyrights and trademarks, with regard to material which bears a direct relation to or is made in consequence of, the services provided under the internship. The gospel industry needs people like Shatta Wale – UNCLE ATO: Popular Gospel music dynamo Uncle Ato, has said that the gospel industry needs people like shatta wale to make the industry grow.

Uncle Ato was at the prevailing ministry internal at Kasowa to worship with the head pastor of the church Prophet Emmanuel Perry Appau and performed his best with the presence of God felt by all participant of the program. Uncle Ato shared stage with Brother sami, Piesie Esther and others who made night a memorable one.

In an interview with the popular worshiper Uncle Ato after admitting the fact there is a dispute challenge among some gospel musicians, said that, the gospel industry need people like shatta Wale in the gospel industry to speak on behave of the music genre.

According to him the gospel industry is not really working for awards, they are rather working for their reward in heaven.

He then advised other gospel musicians to be patient and wait for their time for God to uplift them the highest level.

The head pastor of the Prevailing Ministry International also advised Gospel music is a tool for propagating the gospel, hence it should be used as such.

He added that awards are good but should not be the focus of any Gospel musician.
